How can you collaborate? 

  • If you want to help this unique Project so that it may continue in the future, you can donate whichever sum your heart may desire to either of the following Accounts.

  • If you currently reside in the United States of America, you can make your donation through the Cleveland Foundation. To do so, please follow these steps: 
  1. Go to https://www.clevelandfoundation.org 
  1. Click on “Donors” and then click “Give now” 
  1. Where it says “Giva to a Fund”, select DDG Antorcha Fund 
  1. Fill out the form to complete your online donation 

Your donation is tax-deductible. 

  • Become a godmother/godfather for one of our students for 20 $ per month (this will cover the students´ transport and meals at Antorcha for one month) 
  • Help us to raise funds: if you are in Nicaragua or in another country, organize a creative fundraising event for Antorcha. In Nicaragua, we organize bazaars, parties and raffles. 
  • Buy the products made by Antorcha´s students. See product catalog 
  • Become a volunteer: share your skills and gifts with us to support Antorcha. 
  • Donate materials for the training workshops (e.g. tools and wood for the carpentry workshop, cloths, needles or string for sowing, seeds or plants for the plant nursery) 
  • Donate for Antorcha´s bazaar: Antorcha has a permanent bazaar run by volunteers – we collect toys, books, cooking and houseware which you no longer need or want. 
  • Pray for Antorcha to give this project strength and life. Your prayers are always welcome and we will pray for you in our chapel. 

Donations to the Bazaar 

Antorcha raises funds through its bazaar, where used products are sold which have been donated by friends and collaborators. The permanent sales help the sustainability of the institution. The products of the bazaar include furniture, house and kitchenware, books, toys, and used clothes. 

The bazaar is organized entirely by volunteers of Antorcha´s directive board, which kindly support the center with their time and ideas. 

Product Catalogue 

Antorcha sells the products elaborated by students in the different workshops with the aim of recuperating the money invested in the raw materials, in order to re-invest in new materials for the workshop and keep the valuable training we offer to our students going. 

We use the products as well to show our customers how, in their talents and abilities, many of our students are eligible as employees.
