Antorcha is a non-profit organization, which aims to contribute to the personal development of young adults with disabilities. Antorcha provides its students with opportunities for diverse occupational training in its various workshops, allowing them to discover and develop their individual abilities and eventually work towards finding employment. Antorcha was founded on the 14th of May 1998 in Jinotepe, Nicaragua, by a group of volunteers who wanted to fight back against the lack of opportunities that young adults in Nicaragua face once they graduate from schools for children with special needs.
